Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 in 1954. She was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox went to Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She took a course in harpsichord as well as the flautist piano for 3 years. She was able to survive on a student salary and part-time work to help supplement her income. In the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability in comparison to her fellow students and she pondered what alternative direction she would take. Lennox was a part of a group known as Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. She left the band before her band was invited to compete on I.T.V.'s talent contest New Faces. She was The singer for The Tourists from 1977 until the year 1980. That was also where she got to know Dave Stewart with whom she will form Pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her first solo album Diva and it was released in 1992. The album received a lot of praise, both by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album was Released in October of 2014. The C.D. The C.D. comprises Lennox's favorite blues, jazz, and soul songs of her youth. Lepidoptera contains four improvised keyboard tracks. The E.P. The album is a companion of her "Now I let it go... art installation which was on display at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. This is also her first independently-released album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish politician, philanthropist and singer-songwriter. After a brief recognition as part of the band called The Tourists in the late 1970s, Lennox and co-musician Dave Stewart went on to become internationally renowned as the duo known as Eurythmics during the 1980s. The album that Lennox released in 1992 Diva was a huge success, featuring a variety of songs, including Why as well as Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa is the album she recorded as her first studio album in 1995. It has covers of such songs as The No MoreI I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. The six solo studio albums and the compilation album contain a variety of songs.
